Tribeca Record Label News
The month of February for the Tribeca Records family offered two major releases. The first was a Re-mix of House music artist Irene Michaels’ “My Heart” Ft. Twizm Whyte Piece. The song was released on Valentine’s Day, thereby known as the Valentines mix and features a powerful rap as an addition to the already popular song. The original song release late last November has already garnered over 26K YouTube views and in just a week the Valentines mix has over 25K Spotify streams. The original song was written and produced by iconic DJ Joe Smooth.
The second major release is by rising hip hop superstar Ben Bacardi and called “Life Again.” This was Ben’s debut release on the label. Based in Queens New York Ben is an artist to watch for in the coming months.
March brings the celebration of the Get Out Magazine Awards where Irene Michaels, Twizm Whyte Piece and newly signed Tribeca artist Quinn Lemley will be performing on March 3, 2025 @ The Dickens in NYC. Get Out Magazine is the 7th biggest LGBTQ+ publication in the world. President of Tribeca Records John “SohoJohnny” Pasquale will be introducing these artists at the event.
March also will bring releases from Gina Zollman in the form of a 17 track album called “Originals” which includes her singles “Where I Began” and “Heart Strings.” Jennifer Belle Tribeca’s Country Queen will be releasing her second single on the label along with a video produced in Nashville. The song will be called “Let It Be A Lesson” a woman’s anthem. Quinn Lemley will also be debuting her new album on the label this March called “Remembering Rita Hayworth.”
Composer Randy Edelman will be releasing a new single from his album “Waltzing On A High Wire” entitled “Pat Wants to Know”, a nostalgic type tune with an emotional message. He will also be releasing “21 Again” a coming of age song in May, the lead song on the Album. You can see Randy Live as Let Me Help, Inc. On April 4, 2025 THE AMERICAN RELICS & Irene Michaels will be opening for the legendary late night talk show host Mickey Burns @ Chelsea Table & Stage. As he presents his one man show based on his 22 year and running talk show “Profiles With Mickey Burns.” THE AMERICAN RELICS will also be starring in their own show at Chelsea T&S on May 2, 2025.
Also soon to be released is the SohoJohnny disco Legacy album which will feature songs from artists including: France Joli, Gloria Gaynor, and other amazing superstars. This project is a special, close to the heart effort from SohoJohnny and will be sold in CD format on the Tribeca Records Website.
